You know what to do.

You've always known.

Knowing was never the problem.

This is about the gap between knowing and living.

IIThe gap, on a Tuesday

You don't need another motivational quote. You need someone to see you accurately.

6:50 am

The mind is busy before you've even felt yourself wake. Notifications. Planning. Exhausted before the day has begun.

11:30 am

You've been looping the same task for almost two hours. In reality it could have taken fifteen minutes of focused work.

4:00 pm

You said yes to something you didn't want. Again.

9:40 pm

Scrolling. Numbing yourself feels easier than staying present with everything that's there.

11:55 pm

This can't keep being my life. I know I'm capable of more than this.

And here's what nobody tells you: none of this is a discipline problem. You can't think your way out of it, because thinking isn't where the gap lives.

III
IIISo what's really happening?

Your body decided you weren't safe. Everything else followed.

When the nervous system reads threat, whether that's deadlines, conflict, or years of pressure, it doesn't ask your opinion. It tightens the breath, narrows the focus, and swaps decisions for loops. The loop looks like this:

STRESS pressure · conflict · years of it SHALLOW BREATH chest up · exhale cut short OVERTHINKING thinking replaces deciding AVOID · NUMB scroll · busywork · yes when you mean no the loop runs until the body feels safe NOT UNTIL YOU TRY HARDER

Three gears. You're stuck between two of them.

Sympathetic · revved

Fight / Flight

Wired, reactive, can't switch off. Productive, until it isn't. Sleep is shallow, patience is thin, the jaw is tight.

Dorsal · flat

Freeze / Shutdown

Numb, foggy, unmotivated. Not lazy. Protected. The system pulled the plug because the revving got too expensive.

Ventral · regulated

Regulated

Present, clear, responsive instead of reactive. This is the state decisions are supposed to be made from. It's trainable.

The breath is the only gear stick you can reach by hand.

Heart rate, hormones, digestion: all automatic. The breath is the only one that's also yours to steer. A long slow exhale tells the body "safe", mechanically, through the vagus nerve, whether your thoughts cooperate or not. That's why this works where thinking fails.

HOW YOU BREATHE NOW chest · fast · exhale cut short. the body reads danger HOW IT LEARNS SAFETY belly · slow · exhale longer than inhale. the brake engages

IV
IVProof, in your own body

Before you believe anything I've written, measure your own system.

The BOLT score is a simple, research-backed read on how your body tolerates CO₂ and how efficiently it uses oxygen. Low scores track with over-breathing, shallow sleep, anxiety and early fatigue. Two minutes, no signup, on its own page. The orb walks you through every step.

VThe bridge

The Integration Method: regulate the body, then change the life.

Most approaches start with insight and hope the body follows. Mine starts where the gap actually lives, then moves to decisions and identity. Breathwork, coaching, cold and heat, all tools. The bridge is the sequence.

i.

Regulate

Breathwork and somatic tools bring the system out of fight, flight or shutdown. In the room, measurably. Nothing else works until this does.

ii.

Uncover & decide

From a regulated state we find what's actually draining you. Usually one avoided decision, one boundary, one conversation. Then we make it, cleanly.

iii.

Embody

Daily practice and real-world reps between sessions. Each kept promise teaches the body the new normal. That's how change holds.

The Bridge

Four to eight weeks of private work for people in a real transition: a breakup, a burnout, an identity that no longer fits. This is the deepest way to work with me, and it's built deliberately small.

  • iA 60-minute intake call. We map what you're carrying and decide together if this is the right fit.
  • iiPrivate 90-minute breathwork sessions, in person in Santa Teresa or online, built around what's alive that week.
  • iiiIntegration coaching calls between sessions, where what surfaced in the body becomes decisions in your life.
  • ivDirect WhatsApp access between sessions, with clear boundaries so it stays sustainable for both of us.

$1,500 for four weeks · $2,600 for eight, everything included. By application, three clients at a time.

Is this for you

This is selective. On purpose.

This is for you if

  • You're in a major transition
  • You know something needs to change
  • You've already done personal development work
  • You're willing to take responsibility
  • You're ready for action

This is not for

  • People looking for a quick fix
  • People who want someone to save them
  • People unwilling to take action
  • People looking for passive healing

Questions you might be holding
Why not therapy?
Therapy works with the story. This works with the body, and then turns what surfaces into decisions and action. Both have their place. If you've been talking about something for a while and nothing's shifting, the conversation alone probably can't reach it.
Why not another coach?
Most coaching starts with mindset and goals. This starts with your nervous system, because no strategy survives a body that doesn't feel safe. The order is the difference: body first, then decisions, then identity.
How long does it take?
Four to eight weeks, depending on where you are and what we're working with. Most people feel the first shift, a calmer system and better sleep, inside the first two weeks. The decision work follows from there.
Why is the price on the page?
Because this work starts with trust, and hiding a number until you're on a call felt like the wrong way to begin. $1,500 for four weeks, $2,600 for eight. Everything included, nothing to negotiate.
What happens on the call?
Sixty minutes, free, honest. We map what you're carrying, what you've tried, and whether this is the right fit. If I don't believe I can move you, I'll say so and point you somewhere better. You'll leave with clarity either way.
How do I know if I'm a fit?
If you recognized yourself here, you're close. The call decides the rest, together. Three clients at a time keeps the work honest, so the fit matters to me as much as it does to you.

VIWho's holding the room
Mathias kneeling, hands supporting a participant's head during a session

I don't heal people. I give them back the controls.

Everyone has the capacity to heal themselves. My work is to hand that capacity back: shifting the mindset, regulating the body, and returning your autonomy so you can face your life on your own feet.

I bring the tools. Breath, cold, heat, stillness, honest reflection. You bring the work. There's no performative healing in my rooms and no dependency on the guy holding the space. If you leave needing me, I've failed.

I'm Mathias. Before this I lived the other life: law school, luxury hospitality, B2B tech sales, a decade of high-pressure rooms with a nervous system pinned in fifth gear. I had to live through it. The years it took me are the reason I can hand you a shorter road.
